Metro Music Makers is excited to be partnering with Alpharetta Recreation, Parks and Cultural Services to produce our camp experiences this summer. We are thrilled to be bringing back our two most popular camp offerings: Rock Band Camp and Musical Theatre Camp.
Rock Band Camp
Dates: June 1 – 5, 2020 and June 8 – 12, 2020 (two separate camps)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Age Level: 7-13
Fee: $320 for Alpharetta residents; $480 for non-residents; $10 band t-shirt fee payable to instructor first day of camp
Location: Alpharetta Arts Center, 238 Canton St, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Camp Description: Budding rock stars will learn the basics of performing in a rock band, including stage presence and how to work together. Campers will rehearse songs as a group and will also receive individual attention from instructors. Our rockers will have fun practicing their skills while playing games and socializing with other musicians. All instruments, styles and experience levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. Everyone will need to bring their instruments (guitar, bass, etc.); drums and keyboards will be provided. Friends and family are invited to enjoy the campers’ Rock Show on Friday afternoon.

Musical Theatre Camp
Dates: July 27 – 31, 2020
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Age Level: 7-13
Fee: $320 for Alpharetta residents; $480 for non-residents; $50 supply fee payable to instructor first day of camp
Location: Alpharetta Arts Center, 238 Canton St, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Camp Description: Aspiring thespians will have the full theater experience, including stage presence and how to work together. Campers will learn acting techniques, songs and choreography as a group and will also receive individual attention from instructors. Campers will gather in small groups to focus on set design, prop making and costuming. Our campers will have fun orchestrating a musical theatre performance while playing games and socializing with other thespians. All skill levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. Friends and family are invited to enjoy the campers performance on Friday afternoon.
