Kali McMillian is a voice teacher specializing in musical theatre, classical, jazz, and blues music. She also teaches ukulele and piano. Since graduating from college, she has worked with a touring children’s theatre company, sung opera, and performed Shakespeare.
Kali has clear goals for herself as a teacher. “I want to provide a comfortable mentorship environment where students can discover and develop their skills and love for music.”
She also has expectations for her students. “I want them to feel like they are in a judgement-free zone that is fun and engaging— where they look forward to their lesson each week.”
“I take such pride in my students, and I will be there for each and every concert beaming from the front row,” Kali enthuses.
In her spare time, Kali enjoys binge watching TV and checking out more books at the library than she can possibly read before they’re due. “I am an unapologetic film nerd/podcast-oholic/DIY enthusiast, and I love to upcycle clothes for fun,” she shares. She also does a mean Doris Day impression.
