Connor has over a decade of experience in the study of guitar, voice and piano. He now teaches guitar, piano and voice across several genres, including rock, pop, country, alternative and more. He received his Bachelor’s degree in music therapy and is currently preparing to sit for the Music Therapy Board-Certification Exam.
As a teacher, Connor aims “to provide a high quality of music lessons to help our students learn, improve and experiment with new and familiar elements of music. My goal is to inspire creativity and growth by applying the hard work and determination necessary to thrive as a musician! “
Connor provides his students with assistance in every way possible, whether it is composing original music, work-shopping a popular song, or just offering support and advice when students feel they are being extraordinarily challenged.
For Connor, the community aspect of music has greatly enhanced his love for the art. “My favorite performance memories all include having the opportunity to perform with other musicians,” he reflects. “Through high school and college, I was in several bands, a capella groups and ensembles. I find for myself, that performing with friends and peers adds a social element, making success and performing your passion all the sweeter!”
Connor feels really lucky to be alive, as he required a liver transplant when he was just two years old. His mom was able to donate 40% of her liver to him!
When Connor isn’t making or teaching music, he loves playing and watching sports, especially basketball and football.
