What is Interactive Metronome?
Interactive Metronome® or IM is an assessment and training tool that improves synchronization in the brain. It involves learning to synchronize motor movement to an auditory stimulus (the metronome, or a regular, steady beat), and has been extensively proven in research to improve cognitive processing and focus. Who is IM for?
IM has been recommended for clients with many diagnoses including: ADHD, auditory/language processing disorders, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities, stuttering, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, TBI/concussion and many more.
