Job Summary
We’re seeking voice teachers with the skills to work with a diverse range of students, from beginners to advanced vocalists. Most of our clients are young learners between the ages of 5 and 10, but we also teach teens and adults. Candidates should have a strong foundation in vocal technique and be comfortable teaching various styles, including pop, classical, and musical theater. Knowledge of bel canto technique is ideal, as is experience teaching children. We ask our teachers for the flexibility to incorporate students’ favorite genres into lessons to keep them engaged.
Our positions are for in-home lessons in communities throughout Atlanta, including Buckhead, Midtown, Decatur, Dunwoody, Marietta, Alpharetta, Roswell, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
As a voice instructor with Metro Music Makers, you will provide excellent music education while contributing to a vibrant musical community. Teachers enjoy additional opportunities for growth, including:

Our voice instructors are also encouraged to collaborate with students to help them discover their unique vocal style and to support their creative development through personalized lesson plans.
Qualifications
We are looking for teachers who hold a bachelor’s degree in music, vocal performance, or a related field—or have equivalent teaching and performance experience. Candidates should be able to adapt teaching methods to suit students of different ages, skill levels, and learning preferences. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for nurturing young musicians are a must.
Job Details
We offer flexible, part-time positions that allow you to set your voice teaching hours. Lessons take place in students’ homes.

Schedule
Most lessons are scheduled after school hours on weekdays, with options for weekend sessions to accommodate students’ needs. Teachers are able to customize their schedules to align with their availability.
