Since 1998, we’ve helped students master their voice or preferred instrument in the greater Atlanta area. We enjoy teaching children and adults equally, and we have many years of experience working with all manner of students. With children, we’ve found that they learn more quickly when lessons are fun and engaging. We may play games to teach notes on the staff, use activities “off the bench,” sing, and play fun music with backing tracks that will motivate them to practice. That, paired with the comfort of their own home, makes music lessons a stress-free experience that students genuinely enjoy.
Our adult students all bring unique goals to lessons. Some want hour-long (or longer) lessons to work through professional-level repertoire, while others need less instruction time as they learn to read notes, play with a nice tone, or carry a pitch confidently.
Beginner and Advanced Music Lessons
Our instructors have experience teaching both beginners and high-level musicians, and both groups require tremendous skill. Beginner musicians need to be taught concepts in the right order, at the right pace, and in a personalized way that connects with them. If you learn something wrong at the beginning, you could experience years of frustration.
By the same token, advanced music lessons need to be taught by someone who can provide meaningful feedback. We play our instruments (and sing) at a professional level, and we are therefore able to demonstrate good bowing technique, articulation on the piano, head voice, and other other complex musical concepts. With advanced students, we can help them interpret professional literature, memorize it, and prepare for auditions. Whether you are an aspiring hobbyist or professional musician, we can help you improve.

Metro Music Makers brings instruction to student homes, but we also host recitals, have summer camps, teach jam bands, and even have live online music lesson capabilities. You or your child will have the opportunity to perform for peers, and you will be amazed at how much improvement this can bring.
