A recent Berry grad, Alice Johnston has been teaching students since 2019. With a strong background in classical guitar, Alice puts a lot of emphasis on inspiring students— learning what they are interested in playing and helping them discover their confidence.

Alice currently teaches students in classical guitar, beginner jazz guitar, acoustic guitar, and beginner piano.

“As an instructor, I aim to create a safe, inspiring atmosphere for learning,” Alice shares. “I prioritize positive affirmation while challenging students to push themselves to set and achieve their own goals. I believe through interactive music lessons, students have the opportunity to improve focus, enhance learning skills, develop musical abilities, and create a positive outlet for creative self-expression.”

Alice enjoys doing martial arts, and she currently has a green belt in Hapkido.
