Jesse Hancock – Violin

Jesse began his violin studies at the age of 12, and his passion for teaching the violin has flourished with his experience working with children and teens. He not only has experience teaching violin, but he also taught high school English after receiving a B.A. degree in English and later a Master of Science in education from Old Dominion University in Virginia. While Jesse was teaching both violin and English in Virginia, he performed with the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra for 10 years. In addition to teaching, Jesse works with Operation Smile, a non-profit medical organization that helps indigent children and adults around the world receive reconstructive facial surgery. He has merged his experience in education and volunteerism with his love for classical violin to offer lessons to our students.
