Nick Crisa – Piano

Nick started out taking classical piano lessons at the age of 9. Since 1976, Nick has been playing multi keyboards and it clearly shows. While in college studying music theory, he formed two original 5 piece progressive rock band’s; Surface to Surface and Future Shock. They became quite successful while touring the metro NYC – New Jersey areas and were asked to go on tour in England. England’s Priority Records released their debut album in 1989 and this recording venture was a great training ground for Nick as a keyboard session player. After getting married, taking a break from touring and raising two daughters, Nick began working on more conventional musical forms as a full-time piano teacher and playing in various corporate, wedding, and rock cover bands around New York City. In 1998, he and his family moved from New York to Atlanta and he continued playing in rock/blues, new country and 80’s retro cover bands around town until returning to teaching piano and forming his latest cover band-project “AudioCage” in the spring of 2007.
